April 12 Huddler Release

A lot of the features in today's new release of our forum software (it happens weekly or bi-weekly, in case you haven't noticed :-D) are geared towards making moderating easier, so I won't list those features, but I will list the ones that apply to you guys:

New:

- Region Filtering for Classifieds

- Post X of Y

- Public Messages Options

- Social Media Feeds for Industry Insiders

Bugs:

- Number of items in list doesn't match # of items in profile sig

Region Filtering for Classifieds

Sometimes a seller may only offer an item to people in a certain geographic area. We've always had a way to note this in an individual ad, but we've now added a tool that lets buyers filter Classifieds by geographical region.

This is something we'll have to set up (the regions we provide), so I'm thinking "U.S." is one of them, but I'm not sure which others are necessary. Europe, North America, South America, Australia, Rest of the World???

Post X of Y

Because you asked for it, we now show the total count of posts next to the permalink for each post in a thread. This means that at the upper right corner of every post, you'll see "post #46 of 209" instead of just "post #46."

Public Messages Options

Will require someone to be an Established Member. This will stop spammers from posting on their profiles.

Social Media Feeds for Industry Insiders

Industry Insider pages now allow sponsors to embed their Facebook and Twitter streams in the right-hand column. We'll work with sponsors to set these up on request, but we wanted you to know that this is now part of the page.
