Hey guys can you check my swing out for me?  Its only my driver, kind of a spur of the moment thing to take vids after my first full round of the season.  Shot an 87 with 34 putts, Sucks because I should have only had about 28 or 29 putts but o well.  I will post up some 6 iron swings sometime this week.

O ok makes sense.  Any input on my swing from anyone??

Overall I like your setup, but your feet may be just a bit right of your target line.

You're lifting the club with your wrists on the takeaway which is bring the club to the inside and shortening your swing arc.  Also lifting your head considerably during the backswing and its forcing you to reach for the ball at impact.

Your downswing look pretty arm dominant.  At impact your belt buckle is pointing almost straight at the ball.  You're hips make a full rotation later, but they are following your upper body, and ideally it would be the other way around.  I'd like to see your hips more involved earlier and take the lead into the ball.

Thanks for the response.  The golf pro that fit me told me the same about my hips.  Its something that I try to work on but I have had 3 left knee surgeries.  Two acls and one meniscus tear, so its hard for my to get my weight shifted.  I am getting back into shape and working out my knee though so hopefully it will get better with time.

    • Well, it was four years ago, but… yeah.
    • It's still moving, but it's not very fast (which "almost" might cover), and it begins slowing down around P5.5 to P6 in most good players, for a bunch of reasons. The math gets pretty complex pretty fast seeing as how we have two hands, the club is acting on them while we're acting on the club, etc.
    • I was talking to a buddy of mine and he said he stock a GPS tag in his golf bag. Seems like it might be a good idea. What do you all think? Have any of you put one in there?
    • I am six and a half minutes into this video and honestly don't think I can handle any more of it. I do see some of my swing in his - sucks it inside and gets across the line at the top. He also looks like he comes OTT a little, but is then very in to out. That's probably my cluelessness about the swing showing up though. Did I hear him say he's 15* in to out? That's insane and not something I would think anyone would want to do. I'm surprised he put this out there if his goal is to sell his method to other people, you'd think he'd find someone good who uses it to model it, not himself.
