"Strokes" & strokes

I recently suffered two "minor" strokes and have been having difficulty getting back some of my old swing. I am 30-40 yards shorter with most clubs but can play with that defficit. What I cannot seem to get back is my driver - I cannot hit it any more than 200 yards and even at that do not know where it is going. I actually hit my 3 wood longer than my driver. I would like to put a driver back in my bag and am looking for recommendations. At my best I carried a 12.6 index worst was around 21; I am not looking to be a great golfer but would like to get back to an index consistently below 15.

First off, welcome to The Sand Trap!

I would get fitted for a new driver and see if that would help with getting some distance back.
