Hello from northern New Mexico.

Just wanted to stop in and say hi. I have read through a few threads before joining and figured I would sign up and join in.

I have been playing golf for over 20 years. Played in highschool and won some tournaments. Joined the Army after highschool and was lucky enough to have a great job where I had a lot of time to play golf. Seems like we used to play at least 36 holes a day on courses in and around San Antonio, Tx. Worked myself down to a 3 handicap. Got out of the military after 8 years in 1999. Golf took a backseat to having kids for many years. Seems I only got to play a few rounds a year for 11 years. So, as you can imagine, when I got back into it heavily 2 summers ago, my swing was a mess. Finally got a coach this year and working hard to get the kinks out and get back to my old game. It is slowly coming around. Back to a 12 handicap and am working on my grip currently. Hopefull I can get some tip and pointers from the folks here to help me out a little.
