Howdy folks,

New member here currently enjoying our all-too-brief spring here in Minnesota. A bit about myself:

I spent quite a bit of time on my game in high school (I never had a handicap at the time, but my best guess was that I was about a 9), but had to pretty much give up the game once I turned 18 for financial reasons. Last year, after 6 years of playing four or five times a year and struggling to break 100 when I did play, I finally started practicing on a regular basis again, and starting to get my swing back in shape.

I'm sitting at a 13 handicap right now and getting better every day. My goal this summer is to get as close as I can to a 5, which I think is reasonable. My semi-pipe dream goal is to become a teaching pro sometime in the next couple of years, but I still have a ways to go before I can pass the performance test, not to mention that I have no idea how to even begin the process. I figure for now I'll work on whipping my game into shape and figuring out the rest once I get there.

Anyways, that's a bit about me. Looking forward to becoming part of the community around here.
