What would be a good shaft type, steel or graphite, for a golfer who swings hard? What would also give me good distance and accuracy?

No offense man but it doesnt take a rocket scientist to type "Graphite Vs Steel Golf Shaft" into google and click on the 1st link. Reading this would clarify a lot for you:

http://golf.about.com/cs/componentscustom/a/steelvsgraphite.htm

once your done with that go ahead and read this:

http://golf.about.com/cs/tipslessons/a/shaftflex.htm

If you still have questions then ask away but common you can go through the trouble of making an account verifying it and starting a thread but cant take 2 min to search google?
