Hello everyone, I am new here but an avid golfer since the age of 6.  Since moving to the DC metro area 4 years ago I only end up playing in a couple outings for work and when on vacation to visit my father in Arizona.  This year my wife has made me commit to get back into things and signed me up for the AM tour.

With so much time off there are obviously areas that need tweaking.  As much as I would love to use my dad's pro from his club, it isn't very easy to get a lesson in DC from someone in Arizona.

Any suggestions on some of the top pro teachers in the area?  With a low handicap I want to be sure that I am woriking with someone who is able to help me get even better as I would like to have my handicap down to close to 0 within a year or 2.

Hi Jeff,

I am just wondering if you have had any luck finding a quality golf instructor here in DC.  I was once a 4-handicap, and now play to about a 10 because I play at most four times per year.  I want to rebuild my swing (and the rest of my game) from the beginning and do not want some quick-fix driving range pro.
