Hello all,

As you can tell from the title I am currently struggling with some of my equipment.  For one, I am currently on a quest for a new driver.  I currently have a 10.5 degree Cleveland HiBore, the ORIGINAL model, which is at least 4 years old.  It has a regular flex in it.  Big mistake.  The reason I need a new driver is my SS with driver is around 115 to 120.  I sky this thing higher than I hit a 5 iron.  Ridic.  I would preferably like a driver that has a nice and low, penetrating ball flight, that pierces holes through winds, but it's not a priority.

The OTHER main problem with the bag is that I have a regular flex stock fujikura gold shaft in my Cleveland HiBore 5 wood. I sky that thing as high as my 7 iron, which causes me to lose a heck of a lot of distance, especially into the wind.  Not looking for a new club, but rather a shaft.  Any suggestions?

And finally, my last issue, my iron shafts.  I currently play the Callaway X-20's (4-SW, excluding GW).  Not to get in depth about their workability and stuff, but again, looking for a more penetrating ball flight for windy Michigan conditions.  Hit my five iron today on some morning dew greens and it hit hole high, five feet to the right, and spun back a whole 10 feet on the flat-green par 3 9th. If i would have had stiffer shafts instead of the stock uniflex, I could've kept it just sticking instead of zipping it back so much. Suggestions wanted!

So, New Driver, New fairway wood shaft, and new iron shafts.  Can ya help me out?

Goto a clubfitter and get on a launch monitor. After you get data, they will be able to tell you what shafts you need.

thanks for the tip! Yeah its just I was going to do that to find a new driver but what about the 5 wood and shafts?  I can't test them as they cannot be put in my clubs for testing purposes. Are you suggesting that i get my SS checked with both and spin and then they suggest one from there?
