Thought I might join here as golf is a universal sport.

I started playing golf about 40yrs ago but stopped after 3yrs. due to too many other things going on.

I re-started again a couple of months ago because my wife became very interested in the game. Boy, the equipment has sure changed.

We bought a good set of 3-SW improver irons and split them, so we now have a half-set each and bought an extra sand wedge and also have one good 3W so far ( I still need one) and are not worrying about drivers just yet.

Getting there equipment wise. My wife scored a a nice Ping putter and I'm using a blade at the moment, but I'll replace that soon with a mallet. We have a couple of Hybrids arriving next week ( a 20* and a 23*) to replace our 3 and 4 irons. She has the 4/6/8/PW/SW and I have the 5/7/9 irons and the new SW (second-hand).
