Anyone ever painted the lettering on your clubs and filled the numbers? I recently tried some enamel paint that said it would work on metal but not so much. Anyone have any tips? What to buy?

Thanks

I heard using basic colored nail polish works well, haven't felt like trying it though

Handicap: 5

Home Course: The Highlands (Grand Rapids, Michigan)

I've used both Testors model paint, and auto touch-up paint.  Either works well.  Use a toothpick to fill in the letters/lines, then wipe with a paper towel.

CincyCreech, This looks like a question that did not get answered correctly. I just painted my older clubs with one more on the way to do. I use to play KZG Driver PTF/300 9.5 degree and a KZG 3 and 5 wood standard lofts. I bought all new clubs and was fitted for shafts. I had the Ben Hogan heads and put recoil 70 ES regular flex. I can no longer play extra stiff. I gave my old clubs to a kid that needed some thing new. His grandads pings looked like someone used them as hammers. So now I cannot hit these new light fairway woods, I Have Taylormade M4 bought them new, I have a Sim Driver Hogan  clubs and vokey wedges 52, 56, and 60. Odyssey mallet putter. Here are the old KZG 3 and 5 woods and I have a 7 wood coming tomorrow. AS you can see the yellow was wrong. They sent a can of yellow candy instead of red but the label reads red?? I had to start all over.

    • Not really, no. I don't know the history, what you've worked on, what you've tried and moved away from… etc.
    • Day 9: 2/16/25 Putting through 50 mm gates from 11”. Swing pressure shift drills.
    • Definitely not a favorite… For some reason my wife and I started watching Cobra Kai. I know the original was pretty cheesy, but the inability of these people to get over shit that happened like 30 years ago is astounding. And these kids would be arrested, but they don’t even seem to get suspended from school. Would Danny not notice that Johnny’s son looks like Johnny? Etc.? Why would a completely different dojo that has the same name be “banned”? Oy. Not sure we’ll make it to season 2.
    • Day 139 - 2025-02-16 Weather led to a rescheduled GEARS lesson, so I used the time to work on my swing for 60 minutes or so. All downswing stuff. Some swings at 93 MPH. Most around 75-80.
    • A question I have is…this swing (fade, pull cut) does not  feel as good and easily repeatable as the draw swing we were working on previously.  I’m kinda in a weird spot where I do not know which direction will be the best to pursue. I like seeing a penetrating 5 yard draw but also like the thought of the fade not getting away from me as much.    Any thoughts on that?
