So I am pretty new to golf. This is the start of my second year. I have never been a great putter. I 3 putt a lot. Been working on a lot of things, reading a lot about how to be a better putter but nothing seems to work. Recently I decided to fool around with a right handed putter ( i'm a lefty by the way. I am right handed, but in baseball, hockey and golf, I swing left) and i was sinking putts like crazy. getting closer to the holes, seeing the line better, and just plain sinking them like a boss. So I decided to keep putting right.

My question is, does anyone else do this? is this wrong? Will it hurt my game? and why am I able to putt better on my right side then my left side?

If it's working for you then I'd say go for it... I can't think of anybody off the top of my head that does this but there probably is and I really don't see how it could hurt you.  Also, if for whatever reason it doesn't work out you could always put the old putter back into the bag.

I currently do this, I do everything right handed in my daily life (including swinging a golf club) but I putt left handed. I think it has to do with my eye dominance (I am left eye dominant) and I can see the line better left handed. I realized that I have trouble aiming while swinging right handed, but it is easier to just learn what correct alignment looks like than learning how to swing left-handed.

I have a lefty putter that I break out occasionally. My alignment is actually probably better lefty, but my speed is worse. Overall, I tend to get down in fewer strokes righty, but not by much. I happened to find a perfectly priced putter that fit me well, so if you can find one, go for it. It's an interesting story to tell, at least.
