Hello all! Just joined the forum and have some questions about FW woods. I currently have a 15* Cobra SZ 3 wood and can hit it pretty well off the tee but off the deck, not so much. I recently demoed the R11 3 wood and hit it great off the tee and off the deck. I think it has something to do with the R11 having a shallower face? The R11 is way out of my price range. I am in the market, and mostly the used/ebay market. What FW woods out there that are similar to the R11 in size/face depth? Some of the woods I've been looking at are the Titleist 906F2/F4 and Taylormade R7 TP.

I have permanently replaced my Cobra S9-1 3 wood with a Bobby Jones 17* 4 wood.  Shallower face than the Cobra, and I am finding it to be much easier to hit off the deck.
