The win was a long time coming for Freddie. He deserves it. But I have to say, that was a tough way for Moore to miss out on a playoff. The good news for him is, his iron play was really sharp this week, and next comes a course where he almost won last year.

He really threw up all over himself on that last hole. He hit a decent shot out of the sand that should have went in. Then dribbled away that maybe 3 foot putt. Ryan's home course is one I play regularly, so I'd love to see him win again.  I had visions of a playoff there at 18...oh well.

Quick question: does anyone know what happened with Jacobson's tee shot on 15? I was standing behind the green and it seemed as if he nearly skulled it into the pond right in front of the tee; the ball, coming in super low, just landed on the fairway and then rolled 100 or so yards to about 40 yards short of the green. (He would par.)

I noticed that on TV, too. Freddie didn't look too pleased with the shot after impact, and the ball was already rolling when the director cut to the blimp view. He definitely topped it.
