so i was on the 5th hole, a long par 4 with about 180 yrds left, so i pull out a 4 iron, so i dont over swing a 5 and totally miss the green. so i swing the club and i get this really strong pain shoot through my shoulder blade, neck area. i went to my ball, tried to hit it and it hurt so bad that i had to walk all the way back to the clubhouse from the 5th hole! i think i pulled a muscle but im not sure, it seems to feel almost healed in 4 days, i hope i can get back out there soon, life has been boring these past 4 days!

Your avatar?  Is that a photo of your swing?  If it is then I understand why you hurt your shoulder.  You deltoid is rising while you're doing a deep knee been with the latimus dorsei.  What you need to do is swing under more and less around.
