Question on wraps of tape for grips?

When ordering a club and they give you the wrap options, what does +2 wraps equal? Does it add two extra pieces of tape on top of  one which would give you a total of three pieces of tape under the grip? Or does it only give you two pieces of tape under the grip? Thanks so much,

I would read +2 as two extra wraps so that'd be three total... if they just say two wraps and they don't say extra or something like that then it's probably just 2 wraps.

You guys are right, my clubs were ordered +4 top and +5 bottom... Giving me 5 top and 6 bottom. Where did you order them from?
