So I got a deal online and I have 2 90 minute lessons to schedule with a respected local pro. What's the best way to utilize this time? should I go in with specific things to work on in mind, or am I better off taking some swings and letting him be the judge of what I need to work on? it's been a long time since I've had formal lesson's and I don't really know how to go about it.

30 minutes putting, 30 minutes chipping, 30 minutes full swing... and video it cause you'll forget 80% of what he tells you within a day

Without really knowing the state of your game (i.e., where you're losing the most amount of strokes), I'll give you a "generic" breakdown of 60 minutes full swing, 20 minutes short game, 10 minutes putting.

Sorry, that makes sense. I am a streaky putter, hit about 50% of my fairways, and fight a nasty hook with my Irons. My short game is far and away the strength of my game...... although my style in that department is a bit unconventional, so I'm not sure I would want him to mess with the short game. I would say my two biggest area's of opportunity are hitting my driver in the fairway more often (I'm solid with the hybrid of the tee to about 235) and consistancy with my irons. When I'm hitting my irons well, I throw darts, but I just can't stay dialed in, and when it goes bad, it goes really bad

Cool.  You're what I would call a "statistically average" golfer (I'm in the same boat with you).  Meaning that the weakest part of your game is ballstriking followed by short game/putting.  So, spend the bulk of your time becoming more consistent with your full swings to improve your average GIRs per round first.  From there, work on the short game to help you salvage those rounds where your ballstriking decides to take a vacation.
