What are the best golf shoes?

I normally golf bare footed but I was thinking of purchasing a pair of thongs or sandles. How do they feel on your feet and does that thing between your toes give your blisters after walking 18 freakin holes?

There are some awesome golfers out there that played most of their amatuer careers barefoot. But flip-flops? Your gonna end up with a big blister and some broke sandals. Especially if you hit it 300....

I like how the new adidas look but depends onhow much you would like to spend, footjoys always seemed to heavy for me, just a go try a bunch and see what you like for you.

I have three different pairs of golf shoes now and I'm a big fan of Nike athletic shoes in general. I had two pairs of Nikes (don't remember the models) -- one is a traditional black shoe and the other an athletic white shoe. Neither are as comfortable as I'd like for walking.

I just bought a pair of these: HI-TEC DT Storm Golf Shoe

I've been wearing them a bit to break them in and so far they seem really comfortable and very light. Hopefully they'll be a good everyday golf shoe and make walking a lot nicer.
