Hi i need to replace the grip on my superfast driver.

I heard somewhere that they use a lighter grip?

Is this true and would a standard grip be okay?

thanks

Standard grip on that was 30g.  A "standard" grip weight is about 50g (+/- 2g) on average (GP Tour Velvet, Lamkin crossline, etc).  So 20g of additional weight on the butt end would lower the swing weight by 4 points.  Depending on your club's length, that could drop it down to around a C8 (45.5") to a D4 (46.5").  D4 would be OK, but the C8 might be a little too light to feel the club head.  You can always add about 8g of weight to the head to get the SW back up to where it was.
