Dear friends,

For those of you who play the cleveland dst 3 wood, could you tell me your experience with it? Distance? Workability? Sound? Forgiveness?

I play the dst tour driver and I am so happy with it that I am thinking of changing my current 3 wood (titleist 906f2 with 90 gram UST V2 stiff shaft, 1.9 torque ---- à too much for my ss of 100 mph) for the dst.

What it concerns me about the dst 3 wood is that the clubhead is 180cc, and that seems to be bigger than normal? Do you find it easy to use on the fairway?

Any idea how heavy the stiff diamana shaft is for this 3 wood?

Any comments will be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

In my bag:
Cleveland DST Tour 9.5 Diamana
Callaway Diablo Tour 15º

Callaway Razr 5 wood
TaylorMade Tour Preferred 3-PW
Callaway Forged 56º, Titleist Vokey 58º

Odyssey White Hot 1

I have the DST 3 wood, but I no longer keep it in the bag. It is great off the tee and very long. No funny sounds with this one at impact, just nice and solid.

The reason I don't bag it anymore is that it is very difficult off the deck unless your lie is very tight.

I don't know the weight of the shaft, but it is a performer. It is a Diamana Redboard which loads nicely.

I would recommend this 3 wood to someone who doesn't hit very many shots off the deck with a fairway wood, and is looking for an alternative to a driver off the tee. This thing pokes em out there nearly as far as my driver.
