Masters question

I am new to the forum and I realize this is a little random due to timing but my question is in regards to Masters badges. I figured someone on here had to have knowledge and I have not been able to find an answer anywhere. So here's my question: Are Masters badges able to be willed away to family members?

I know that they were for a long time which is why they became such a difficult ticket to obtain, but I have heard that Augusta National started to discourage this in the 80s or 90s. I didn't know if there was any truth to this or if there is a way to pass them on to family members.

I would greatly appreciate any knowledge. thanks guys!
