Hello All from Portland, Oregon

I'm back to golf this year after a long hiatus. The birth of our son seven years ago meant much less "me" time. Not that I'd been a very avid golfer (2-3 rounds per year was all I ever managed). But now I can get out and play. I took a series of lessons this spring from a brilliant local pro, then bought a driver (I'd broken mine years ago) and some new irons.

I'm out on the range or the course 2-3 times a week. As a result my game is improving my leaps and bounds. I shot a 92 earlier this week and if you'd seen my expression that day, you'd have sworn I'd shot a 62! This game is so hard and yet so much fun! I can't get over how great it feels to pure a shot and have it land just where you want.

Thanks to all of you who contribute so much to this site and to those of us who get so much out of it.

Cheers,
Ron

Welcome!
