JB Holmes Having Brain Surgery

David Feherty tweeted that JB was having brain surgery.  I did a couple of searches and come up with nothing.  Is this true?  Anyone heard anything?  I remember him WD from the PGA in Atlanta...

Man that is scary for him.  Non-invasive brain surgury???  It isn't getting your knee scoped.  Best of luck to my fellow KY guy.

This proceedure was described as routine, and maybe in terms death etc., maybe it is. I am not medically trained, but spent several years helping the daughter of a friend who had this condition and had multiple operations for it. It can be very disabling. If surgery does not fix the problem there can be many issues. Chronic severe headaches, dizzyness, potentially crippling effects which can leave a person wheelchair bound. I believe that the golf great Bobby Jones had this condition. He had severe headaches during his playing days and many health problems related to it later in life. Severity varies and there are medical response not available during his lifetime, but I would not consider this a routine medical problem.
