So lately I've been practicing with my driver a lot since it was one of my clubs that I don't really use, and now I always feel unsure while getting ready to swing to hit my irons, I usually use the 7-9 and my wedges, and with those I would usually have the face flat on the ground right behind the ball that is in the middle of my stance, shaft and hands pretty much in the center of me, and with the longer irons I have the ball a bit forward in my stance and my hands before the ball (towards the left, I'm a right handed golfer).

So can someone tell me if I'm doing it correctly, if not how is it suppose to be done?

Hopefully I make sense.

Sounds like you are getting setup pretty well.

The only thing that I would add is that you want to have your hands/grip leaning slightly forward toward the target.
