So I had been using a clone of the TaylorMade R9 lately as I've been working on transitioning my swing to get less of an AoA on the ball. Unfortunately, after only hitting 20 balls at the range today, my driver snapped clean at the very base of the hosel leaving the head dangling by a fiber of graphite... The guy that pieced the club together right away thought that it had to be a bad shot close to the hosel when I called him, but I quickly took a picture for him to view it for himself and he saw the white marks of my shots directly in the sweet spot. He said he'll fix it up, but I'm not sure "when".

This happened right after I shot a 90 just the other day as well because my short game completely deserted me. It was like a "I remember my first putt" type of day, really bad. I guess I at least get to be like a kid on Christmas tomorrow and go splurge on a new driver to hold me over until Christmas right?

Then, going back even further, my putter broke on me on Monday. I was randomly walking to my cart when the putter head actually popped right off of the shaft. I contacted Galaxy right away though and they said I can take that in tomorrow as well for a replacement.

TL:DR

This has been one of those weeks where my golf game has fallen apart... both literally score wise and equipment! With my luck, the course we're playing tomorrow will be selling warm beer. That will just put the cherry right on top!
