This is STRAIGHT from Taylormade. My boss sent it back and they are sending a new one. We got 20 sets for rental at our course and these ones hadn't been hit yet. Our TM rep and my boss are good buddies so we got a great deal on them.

I have seen the same thing happen I think it is a tmade problem. But then again i saw it happen to two R11s.

Thanks for the info guys.  I was playing with another guy and he had the same markings on his Burner 2.0 Driver.

I did buy them from a reputable store that has Taylormade reps come through.

Not sure how to keep this from happening to my rescues though since they are amazing out of bunkers.  Even with some problems, the performance form these clubs is amazing.

I dented the face on my Burner 2.0 within a week.  Just off dead center, towards the toe.  Burners are long clubs but Im done with TM.

EDIT:  Sorry should have mentioned it was a driver, not a 3 wood.

This makes me feel really comfortable having spent $225 on an R11 3w.  Maybe I'll sell it and keep my $65 Cobra 3w, LOL.
