Picking up a set of these irons for my dad. anyone on TST have a set?

I used to game these.  Nice oversized game-improvement irons, but without much offset, and not overly chunky soles, but still very high launching (tungsten plugs).  Appealed to me as my misses are big hooks and pulls.  At address they almost look like blades on steroids.  I thought they felt great and "buttery" as well, perhaps due to the carbon-fiber stuff in the cavity.  Stock uniflex shafts felt like noodles to me though (now playing Project X 6.0's), and i was playing pretty inconsistently, so retired them to the basement instead of reshafting them...

(i'm a lefty btw, wasn't sure if you wanted a review vs. a set to buy, but you're more than welcome to PM me if interested in a lightly used LH model)!

p.s.  couldn't figure out what "TST" stood for, thought it was some new acronym the kids are texting with, & even looked it up on this website http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/TST ...

..then i realized it's The SandTrap...i'm an idiot! --unless you were looking for a Yonex user from the Team Sumo Tournament...but they'd use Nike clubs of course ;)

the uniflex shafts should be fine for him. he used to swing harder but now he is approaching 60 an his range of motion has limited him to more of a 3/4 swing. he doesn't play much anymore so his game is pretty inconsistent anyway. lol. figured I would pick these up for him since his current irons are a "component" set that he ha made an they are pretty crappy. trying to sneak the game improvement thing past him, he's a proud old man and the Adams hybrid sets he wouldnt use. he would rather try to use my setup and be a macho golfer than use a set that suits his game because it says game improvement or senior flex on any of it. we will see what happens I guess. if not I'll put them in my basement for the next 25 years and I'll use them when I'm his age.
