Just a quick note... we have two new Forum Leaders. They are saevel25 and bunkerputt .

"Forum Leader" status has some perks that I won't get into here (except to mention that they'll have a badge beneath their usernames). Instead I'd like to thank these guys for their contributions. The site would not be what it is without them.

Forum Leaders are promoted to this group when I happen to notice - or someone asks - that they've reached a "high" number of quality posts and contributions.

Welcome new mods (and hello to the old gang.)  This is a special site on the internet, clearly many steps above the scanty information found on most special interests groups.  SandTrap is a special place and deserves to remain in its lofty position.

      Shot a 37 today! Palmer Course, PGA National. Really fun. 6/9 GIR, no lost balls. The double and the bogey were both three putts from like 35 feet or so.  The birdie at the last was really fun. I stood over that fifteen footer and thought wow I’m really about to make this, aren’t I? And I hearted it. Really fun. It’s like 9000 degrees outside but I battled through it well. Good times.

      I had been in a bit of a slump for the month of June. Handicap index has slowly risen, and there were few sub-80 scores. Today was a different story at Leslie Park GC. Lots of solid shots, GIR's, up & downs, for a 77 (7.8 differential). As with most rounds, there were a few loose shots and crappy putts, but it was a good day.

      Day 6  (26 Jun 26) - Played 18 today in the Friday men's group shootout.  Would love to say it was an awesome round, but it wasn't  - had a tough day with the putter (especially on the front - short putts missing left or right or just short - just could not get a feel for the greens).
