LOL agreed but we did not give him that option.

I guess I should have said that happened this morning in our round. I will post another video tomorrow my rule 13 shot on the same hole.

I've played a similar shot (not as high overhead, but the ball was suspended in a bush).  It was a situation where a drop would have been at least as bad and probably a worse lie, and returning to the previous shot was not a good option (it had been in scrub as well).  The only risk was not making contact, and but that was not too likely, and if that didn't happen I wasn't going to end up any worse than the drop and probably better.

Cool video though.  Where did his ball end up?

Almost in the fairway. He got about 20 yards of forward progress out of it.
