Hi guys.

I'm relatively new to golf but I'm serious and I have alot of fun playing.

I went to the thrift store and bought the longest irons that werent rusted or bent before I wasted some money. But now I'm realzing that the clubs are too short and thinking in investing some money. I'm not rich so I'm limited to new clubs on ebay or used clubs. My budget is roughly 120$

The wierd thing about me is that I'm 6'3 but if you measure from fingertip to fingertip arms spread its 6'6. I seem to keep topping the ball. My and swing are good but I feel like I have to REALLY bend my knees to get low enough to hit the ball.

I keep the ball close and my stance close as well but it doesn't help me to get under the ball.

My inseam is 36 and wrist to floor is 36 as well.

Should I be looking at longer than men's standard irons? I'm asking because the guy in the proshop at the course I play is a jerk and doesn't know very much.

At 6'3" your may need clubs may 1/2 longer but for a $120 you may be stuck to e-bay looking for a used set thats a bit longer. Brand new I've listed a few links for you below. Hope this helps

Those look like all good deals. But I'm leaning towards the custom fitted ones. Are those good irons?

Also my mom is getting her tax return. So maybe if I be a really good boy she will get them for me. Thanks again

There's nothing wrong with these clubs. A friend of mine had a set when he was beginning. There easy to hit, very forgiving and you have trouble getting the ball in the air with them with is what you want with a first set of clubs.

I probably shouldn't do this but if you click on the link below. Just ignore the club that comes up and click on "customize club". This will take to a page where if you fill in the different measurements will give you a rough guide of how to set your clubs up ie the length etc
