I have had regular shafts in my irons since i got them 4 years ago.  Now my swing is much quicker, 115 mph with my driver and i hit my 9 iron 150 yards.  I can generally control my irons pretty well, but i snap hook them off the tee, so on par 3's i dont even use a tee anymore, even with a 3 or 4 iron. So i know i need new shafts, but i don't know wether i should get XStiff or stiff.  In the end it comes down to control, and if i can control a stiff shaft then it should be ok.  But i just wanted to know what you guys think i should get.

Thanks a lot

I would take the guess work out and see a club fitter or someone who uses the mizuno shaft optimizing system.

XStiff in one manufacturer will be entirely different to another manufacturer as there seems to be no specific guidelines to what XStiff really is. I'd go with vasaribm's suggestion and go see a custom club fitter and try a few different shafts with different bend profiles and see whether you need more stiffness in the entire shaft, just the tip etc.
