I am looking to add 3 and 4 hybrids in my bag. Decided on the Mizuno MP Fli-Hi. I do have a titleist 910H but am returning it as I am not comfortable with that big a head. I play AP2s and was custom fitted for it - std length, 2 degrees flat.

My question is, do I need the same 2 degree flat in the 3 and 4 mizuno MP fli Hi irons?

The specs (for the lie) for both Titleist and Mizuno (data from their website) are as follows :

Titleist AP2 3 iron : 60 degrees (but i play 2 degrees flat)

Titleist AP2 4 iron : 61 degrees (but i play 2 degrees flat)

Mizuno MP fli-hi 3 iron : 59.5 degrees

Mizuno MP fli-hi 4 iron : 60 degrees

If all my AP2 irons (5-9) have been fitted as 2 degrees flat, what should be the angle on these mizunos?

I'm not 100% sure, but i thought that as you move into the Hybrids and Woods the lie angle doesn't matter as much as in your irons & wedges. I know that some companys will/can bend their hybrids lie angles but only by 1deg, so check with Mizuno to see if they even offer this service.

I was always told to take more care of shaft length and lofts in hybrids rather than lie angles. My clubs are 2.25deg flat but my 909H is a 19deg loft standard lie.

The MP fi-His are irons (not hybrids) so they can be bended. I called Mizuno to confirm and thats what they said. In fact the guy I talked to encouraged the idea in order to make these a part of the rest my irons.

Hopefully I can get over this Hybrid business. The MP Fli His are NOT hybrids:) They are irons and can be bent just like forged irons.
