Bushnell Pinseeker 1500 - Battery Power

I'm graduating from college and I'm trying to find a golf gift for myself from my parents (nice, I know...) I play a lot and almost never ride, I'm just trying to stop playing the guessing game out on the course.

Ive read up on all the features of the Bushness Pinseeker models and they seem pretty solid, realiable and user friendly. The only issue I'm wondering about is battery life, I know its a small issue but these suckers use 9V's and they arent cheap...

anyone out there have any issues with battery life or do they pull their weight for a 400 price tag?

I have had my Pinseeker for almost two months now and have played at least 15 rounds of golf using it. I am still on the first battery.

I don't think battery life is going to be an issue.

Ditto. Mine lasts about 20-40 rounds. I really don't remember. As long as I've had mine I've only replaced the battery a few times. I use it on every hole, sometimes a few times.

Batteries expend energy as they age as well as when they are used. So, for the longest battery life in any device, be sure to use the freshest batteries.

I've had my Pinseeker since January, and I've used it a number of times. The batteries show no sign of wearing out. Battery life doesn't seem to be an issue with this marvelous tool. I would think this would be a great gift.

      Great post, thanks for the informaiton. I try to avoid adding salt to anything I eat. I tend to add pepper on to my meals as opposed to salt. And I am trying to eat as clean on possible. On golf day, I eat 3 eggs for breakfast (pepper NO salt) and a salad for lunch, with grilled chicken thigs (pepper, garlic, no salt). I have been trying to avoid processed food, but we all slip. I also should have mentioned that the electrolyte packet calls for mixing with 16 oz of water, however I mix in 32 oz of water, so I dilute the electrolyte powder.

      So if I read the news correctly, the PIF will not fund LIV after this season.  LIV is trying to find new funding and a number of players there are now asking about getting back to the Tour.    I am very, very concerned that Taylor Gooch will not have a place where he can make a jackass out of himself soon

      It is a known technique, similar to the armed forces box technique. They use a 4x4 , in through the nose and out through the mouth. I use it to go to sleep fairly often. It works for me
