Once again....am looking to add a hybrid to the mix....have previously used TM rescue both orig and dual TP, Ping G5, and Mizuno CLK.....demo-ed the Titleist 585H (didn't like).....am currently debating b/w cobra baffler, callaway fusion or TM burner......currently need something b/w my 3 wood and 3 iron....
I hit the previous hybird pretty well for a few months then it gets ugly very quickly so end up dropping it out.....

Have you tried out all of those? I haven't hit them all but can tell you that TM rescue and Cobra Baffler are hard to beat. Fusion is nice too but make sure you get the right setup (draw or neutral). Callaway X is hot off the face too.

It took me a little while to get used to hitting my first hybrid consistently. But then, once I got the hang of it, there was no going back and I bought two more this year. A typical three iron replacement, I believe, is a 7 wood. I hit my 7 wood very well. A hybrid is often easier to hit than a fairway wood, but you may want to try a 7 wood as well as the hybrid. If I had it to do over, I probably would own no fairway woods, just hybrids.

I just threw the 7 wood out of my bag in favor of a Cleveland 3i Halo (didnt get the HIbore because I picked up the Halo brand new for 85$) First swing with it I hit a 3 iron + 10 distance, landed soft onto the green, hit my birdie and bought one as soon as I left the course.

I have both the TM 16* and 19* hybrids in the bag. I dont carry a proper three word because I hit the 16* 215ish off the deck and 230ish off a tee.

I am tempted to put a strong three wood in the bag to satisfy my ego on par 5's, but have resisted thus far

I would definately recommend the TM rescue line. They have helped my game tremendously.

been looking at hybrids myself. any of the nickent clubs or the nike cpr
