I've hear many times on here that only perfect practice makes perfect, not just hitting balls will make you better? Is it possible to simply hit balls with the goal of hitting it solidly and producing a respectable outcome? And a lot of times I'm just swinging with no ball in my yard. Is trying to produce a divot at or in front of my "ball" a good goal? And what about muscle memory? Can you simply just work on the swing your being taught? The perfect praxtice thing makes me feel like my praxtice is just time wasting crap. By the way, the goals listed above are many times mine on the range, or yard.

Should answer all those questions.

Also practice doesn't make perfect. Practice makes permanent.
