Hi,

I purchased the Razr Hawk (standard) 9.5 degree driver a few months ago and absolutely love it, so much so that I decided to invite it's mates to the party and picked up the 5 wood and a hybrid 3 yesterday. It wasn't until I got home that I noticed I'd actually managed to get the tour version of the hybrid 3. Can anyone tell me the actual difference between the tour and standard versions of this club? The Callaway website lists that the standard head is slightly of-set, to help square it up at impact but that seems to be the only noticeable difference.

I play off 16 and am wondering whether or not I should exchange it for the standard version, or whether to just stick with what I've got as an off-set head doesn't sound that appealing... I guess I'm just really looking for someone to ease any demons from my mind!

Cheers in advance,

Matt.

I believe the Tour version is set to 1* open and most of the shafts (not all) on the Tour version were stiff, lower spin, higher kick point shafts compared to the non-tour version.

Some players have trouble with hybrids because they hook the ball. If you have the Tour model in the right shaft for you, it could work OK.

What kind of irons do you have? It might depend if you're used to offset in your irons.

( Note: Consider putting a "What's In My Bag" segment either in your sig line, or in your Lists area. That way we can see your club mix, and get a better idea of how you approach the game.)
