hey guys, most folks call me "DOC" , i have been out of the game for about 18 years and really miss it. just being out there with friends and the challenge of a game you never beat just deal with.

i am trashing all my old clubs , they are in rough shape and way way out of date.  so many improvements have been made since i last bought anything thats its kind of overwhelming.   i have hit a few newer clubs at the driving range in the last few weeks and even though i am about 50 lbs heavier then when i quit , i still have a somewhat decent swing,, just need to adapt for the extra bulk in front.

out of all the clubs i have tried so far , the calloway diablo edge irons really feel good and hit like a bomb.  after a few balls i was hitting them farther then i ever hit my old irons, and even a good 4 and 5 iron which before i was never real confident in.

i was a normal weekend hacker ,, usually shot around 88 to 90  when everything was going well.

just wondering what you guys thought about the calloway diablo irons or and recommendations for any others or drivers to look into. BTW i am a left handed hitter.

cool website and thanks again

What's up Doc?

The Diablo Irons are a good choice, especially since you already tried them and had good results.  I almost pulled the trigger on a set of them myself.  As far as drivers, give the Diablo Edge or Octane a try.
