I bought a refurbished clicker 3.5 cart 2 weeks ago from clicker.  Paid less then 150.00 shipped to my door.  Have used it twice so far.

Goes up and down hills with ease, brake works well on hills.  Yesterday walked a very hilly course and hand to use the hand brake going down a winding cart path to help slow the cart down.

Will see how well umbrella holder works next week when my 68 inch Cobra umbrella come in.

Cart is very well made, folds up easy and does not take up a lot of room.  I also freeze my water bottles and punt into my bag and take out as needed.  Drink holder works well.  There are many places one can add drink holders or other items on the cart.

Might try to add a insulated fordable lunch bag to the cart if I need more space for sandwich.  Walking instead of riding in a cart is great exercise and I too find a lot of golf balls that others in carts drive buy.

If you are looking for a cart you can't go wrong with a clickgear.

Will update after umbrella arrives.

I'm wondering about the umbrella and have let my wife know I want the seat for my cart for my upcoming birthday.  Best price I have found is around $38.00 on Amazon.  I am walking nine holes at Bruce Hills several times a week and find my self waiting behind foursomes using gas carts so the seat will be a nice break for my aging knees.   The course is hilly and pushing up hill is not as bad as pulling a cart to me and because the clicgear is so stable I just let it roll down hill on its own stopping at the bottom.  Just have to make sure there is not water at the bottom of the hill or have to walk back up to hit my ball.  Really this cart is everything I could have hoped for and more as it makes golfing that much more enjoyable.  Like having a caddy with you that doesn't talk.  I was hesitant at first spending the money but after trying this cart three times now I am looking forward to walking more and will be working up to 18 holes as this senior gets in shape throughout the summer.  Glad to see others enjoying their push carts as well.

From posts I've read many enjoy the seat.  The Amazon price is also the best I have seen to date.  Will see if I need the seat latter on longer course.  After walking 18 yesterday very hilly I know I will be able to walk most courses.  That's the plan anyway. :-)

Take your time and work up to walking 18,just have fun.

    • That'd great. I love indoor practice in the winter. In all seriousness. don't be afraid to go out and get lessons. It can take a while to find a swing coach that's right for you. I've had a myriad of them, some good, some not so good. One that I'm actually friends with, but he wasn't right for me as a coach. I work with @iacas these days, and he really helps me... I call him Yoda. I'm sure I improve more because of his lessons than I ever would on my own. Finding a good coach can be like finding the right spouse. ... possibly more difficult depending on where you live.  Secondly, don't be embarrassed to post a MySwing thread. A lot of golfers are like "eh, I don't want everyone to see how crappy my swing is." Don't be that golfer. Be the golfer who says "My swing needs work. Here's where I am at the moment."  Anyway, that's my 2 cents.  Enjoy the indoor facility, but time the snow melts away in the spring, you'll be ready to go.
    • Thanks for all the thoughts and tips.  I truly appreciate it.   I’m going to work on it this winter at an indoor golf facility.
    • Dustin Johnson?  I think Freddy Couples was known for a really strong grip. Bryson plays a strong grip. I know Zach Johnson does too.  There are probably others.  I'm no Alfred Einstein but I'm pretty sure it's all about match ups. If you do X you need to do Y. ...etc... Jordan Spieth and Colin Morikawa have swings which match their quote-unquote weak grips, where Dustin Johnson has a swing that matches his quote-unquote strong grip.  Once again, for the OP, @Brickman I probably sound like a broken record, but you should post video of your swing, especially video of the ones that duck hook. It's hard to diagnose exactly what's going on without seeing it.
