Last year I had two "firsts" on one hole. My first putt for eagle and my first three-putt-par.

Well yesterday I had another first. I got 3 birdies in one round. I actually got two in a row! That's pretty good for a guy who averages .5 birdies per round. The best thing was that on one hole one of the mowers watched me play the hole. I hit a drive right in the middle of the fairway. Then knocked my second shot about fifteen feet from the hole. Had one of those down hill tricklers that lo and behold trickled in the hole. The mower gave me a fist pump! The back to back birdies were really sweet. The only problem was that on the previous hole I had a nice little 9 which didn't help my total score one bit.

Congrats! The only thing better than a textbook birdie is a textbook birdie in front of a gallery. I hope you avoided the infamous "post-birdie" syndrome that seems to jump up and get me all the time.

Congrats... I always seem follow up a birdie with my name, and it frustrates the crap out of me. Just when you think you get the hang of things BAM... back to reality.

Congrats again

Congrats, that's awesome!

The last time I made a birdie, I was more proud of the par I made on the next hole. :)

something i really love is 3 years ago my first birdie was a chip in. I was on a 345 par 4 and i drove really short. my second shot came short of the green and i used a pitching wedge and chipped it in from about 50. It was really awsome.
