Without question my best club is the #4 Cleveland hybrid, 23*. Just the perfect length, head shape and weight, loft, etc. Everytime i use it, good results about 165 yds. Straight and true ball flight but sometimes really high. Is there any way to keep the flight down and still get that distance? Put ball forward or back in stance? Deloft club with grip? Any ideas will help.

A tip i found very useful

take your stance, hold the club out in front of you, take your grip continuing to hold the club out,....this will naturally put the club into the correct position relative to your stance,...then simply bend forwards until the clubhead reaches the floor.......wherever the clubhead touches the floor is close to being the ideal ball position for that club,....

I noticed that if i setup with my hybrid how i normally do and then stand up and do this the clubhead always comes to rest an inch to 1.5 inches behind the ball ( I had the ball to far forward!)

from there i move the ball back and hit my shot,.....ive found a much better/straighter/more pentrative ball flight by doing this,...

before as yourself i would regularly suffer a balloon shot that only went 120-130 yards

my pro said it was ball position causing me to hit up on it,...

dont forget even though its a hybrid still treat it as an iron fo rbest results

I play a hybrid instead of longer irons and with the slim club head and low COG, getting under the ball's equator is the desired effect. Unless you want to play a lower flight, I would leave things well alone. You will get the most out of the club with a higher flight path.
