Replaced my old irons

I've been searching, and persuading my wife, for a new set of irons. I pulled the trigger tonight on a set of TaylorMade Burner Plus irons for $299. Really happy to have a new set of irons, which replace my existing from a 15 yr old box set. All I need to upgrade now are my 3w, 5w, and putter, and I'll have completed one of my 2012 goals. :)

Driver: TaylorMade SuperFast 2.0 -- 10.5* Woods: TaylorMade SuperFast 2.0 -- 3w 15*, 5w 18* Hybrid: TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 Rescue -- 4h 21* Irons: TaylorMade Burner Plus -- 5-AW Wedges: TaylorMade RAC -- 56.12, 60.07 Putter: TaylorMade Spider Ghost -- 35" Ball: It's complicated.

I played a 9 hole par 3 course yesterday to test out the new irons. I love these things. Granted I'm teeing up every iron shot, I hit them very well. They landed very soft on the greens, which I've rarely been able to do before. I'm playing a full 18 this Friday and I'm looking forward to seeing how well I hit them from the fairway and rough.
