Happy Easter, or Buana Pasqua as we say, to all on TST. Hope your Holy Week went well. If anyone wants to share personal stpries about what they did or are doing today, that'd be great. I figured if Tiger Woods and the Masters deserve several threads, Easter deserves at least 1. Happy Easter, and remember, don't seek the lving among the dead!

Okay, I guess I'll kickstart this. Yesterday, I had lasagna and lamb and roasted potatoes ande antipasto (not in that order!) at my Nonna's. Then we desert, the usual biscotti, etc. After I went to my aunt jean's for my dad's side. We had cake for my 2 cuz's b-days, and cinnamon ice cream, it was good. On Holy Thirsaday I served Mass, and got my feet washed. On Friday's service we venerated the cross, and before, my dasd started making the fiadone, an Italain Easter pastry. They mean "new breath" because they're made at Easter, new life, spring, get it? Then no Saturday a 2 hour vigil Mass. Long, very long.......................if anyone reads to this point, please write something because a kid who makes a thread and no one responds to so he has to write somethinhg just to gget 1 is a prettty big loser. Spare my little feelings.

My family and I really didn't do much on Easter, but I do remember fondly years ago being an altar boy and extremely busy Holy Weeks.

Easter egg hunt for the kids at church on Saturday morning.

We had our traditional sunrise service which we do on a hill out back of our church each Easter morn. We then have breakfast afterward in the fellowship hall. We go home for a couple of hours and come back for the 11 am service. It is truly a special time of the year!

Then got to kick back and watch my favorite tournament!

    • Day 132: did some mirror work while watching TV. Worked on backswing stuff primarily.
    • 26 Nov 24 -  It was not a record breaking round by any means, but rather a simple walking of the back nine today playing TBWB (two ball-worse ball) where the challenge is to play the worse of the two shots played - could be an errant drive from the woods, a tree knocked ball that is 100 yds farther back down the fairway, a nGIR ball as opposed to a GIR….the goal today was to stay no worse than bogie thru nine.  Managed to achieve that goal - bogied 7 holes with one dbl and one par to counter the dbl.  It’s about staying focused and not letting a bad shot or lie derail, but rather be an opportunity.
    • Day 208 (26 Nov 24)- Opted to walk 9 today (was the back nine as they had a huge group going off the front) but instead of it being persimmons and blades, I had the regular gamers but made it a TBWB (two ball-worst ball) round.  This really challenges on several fronts - ball striking to be as consistent as possible, course management from non-optimal lies and keeping your head in it as it can be depressing to nail a shot on line-on target and the second rattles the trees right and it’s over 50 yards back and that’s the one you have to play.  The goal was to be no worse than bogie overall (+9).  Finished the round exactly on the number with some solid recoveries, no penalty strokes and only one 3-putt.
