Hi guys, even though Mike and James have been helping me out with my swing through Evolvr a TON, I still can't figure out how to keep a steady head, and thought I'd post my latest swings.  Any tips on keeping the head still?  Also, as per Mike and James' advice, I'm trying (without much success) to get my arms detached from my body.  Everyone's feedback is much appreciated!

I think you have a ton of really good pieces. Your lower body is great in the backswing. You have the same head up move that I do in the very last phase of the backswing. My view is that your left shoulder could go more down to avoid moving your eye line. I think mvmac's video on sequencing to help with your right elbow movement. I think it gets way behind you and from there you are fighting to try to get it synched up.

The back swing is a little flat which is what's causing the arm's issue. Take the club to the top of your back swing and stop. Then just lift your arms up a little so the left arm is more across your shoulders to see what that feels like. It could be a flexibility issue to why your swing is so flat. The good thing is that your are on plane during the downswing. What is your missed shots.

Thanks, the shoulder down is one move that I keep trying to work on.  And I do like that video, which if just simulating the same motions that Mike does in it, means that I am moving my arms around wayyyy too much!

Thanks, I'll give that a shot.  My misses are a mix of hooks with short clubs, and slices with the longer clubs (woods/hybrids/long irons), but I've also been hitting off the heel and shanking shots.

    • It’s winter here and time hitting at my indoor place.  This year I bought and sold a few sets so I didn’t settle in on anything. For this coming season, starting now I have a choice to make.  What set would you guys use? 1.  Nike Vapor Pro irons - They are like new, hit them some last year before I had to demo other sets.  I love them, original grips, barely used so I’m almost not wanting to use them to keep their value up.  Standard LLL and standard grips. 2. Taylormade P7TW irons - Still in the box.  Got them over a year ago but had too much to hit, never used them.  Have used a set in the past and loved them.  Ended up with my own set custom fit to me -1/4”, 1 degree flat midsize grips.  These are probably not as valuable because they are still available and they are fit to me. I hate to put the Nikes away but it makes more sense to save them than the TW’s…. I dunno….
