Hi all,

My first post!  I need some help after I installed my new putter grip.

I purchased a new "over sized" putter grip as well the the grip installation kit.  The kit included several double back tape pieces, the spray activator solution etc.  I followed the instructions to a tee.  I

I removed the old grip and all of the old tape and glue residue.  Then I cleaned the shaft with rubbing alcohol.  Added the the tape and removed the outer tape liner.  Sprayed the inside grip as well as the tape per the instructions.  Slid the new grip over the shaft, aligned and allowed excess solution to drain.  12 hours later I tried out the putter.  Loved the new grip feel.  I then gave the grip a gentle turn to see if it had adhered well to the shaft.  To my amazement, the darn grip squeaks and turns about a 1/4 inch in both directions.  The entire grip from both ends turns!

Any advise on a fix would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
