Bowler learning to golf

hello all! Just recently decided to get stared in golf and found this great forum. Im 18 and in college. I bowl and many bowlers golf during the summer, my family included. I've got the itch and want to learn this great game. I've only played less than a handful of rounds and want to learn as much as i can from here. with practice and the lessons learned id love to become a competitive golfer. thank you all

Welcome!  I was a golfer who just learned to bowl a few years ago.  I can't get enough of either ... but have to limit the golf, unfortunately, because its a lot harder on a bad back than the bowling.

Anyways, there is a lot of good stuff on here, so enjoy.
