What are your opinions on the stock shaft that is in it?

In bag(15 years old on budget):

Driver- Taylor Made Burner 09

3 Wood- Dunlop Loco

3 Hybrid- Walter Hagen AWX

4,5 Hybrid- Nicklaus Polarity

6-SW- Nicklaus Polarity Irons

Putter- Top Flite

Balls- Callaway War Bird

Mine has a RIP Phenom 60 gram S-flex and it hits long and straight when I do my part.

During my fitting, I tried several shafts which were custom tipped to lower my ball flight, as I asked specifically to be fitted for a lower flight. After coming up with a shaft that was optimal on the monitor we tried the stock one listed above and the results were the same for $100.00 less. I am very happy with the driver and stock shaft and I haven't heard anyone else complaining about theirs.

I spent a small fortune on my clubs and haven't regretted one dime as they fit me and were exactly what I wanted. I was willing to buy the best shaft for my game, within reason, and the stock one was sufficient at a lower cost. I put more faith in my own testing than consumer reviews and what works for me may not work for you.    Good Luck.

      Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.

      Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.

      Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
