Burner Superfast vs Burner Superfast 2.0, driver, woods and rescue. Is it just me or are these clubs almost identical? At first glance they look like the exact same club accept for the obvious color difference, black and white. I understand the workers at dicks might not be the smartest guys around, but three separate employees told me that they are the same club accept for color.

So after a little research I found a few differences. Even though they look the same to the naked eye, the two heads are slightly different in shape, by a very small amount. The grip on the 2.0 is lighter and I think the actual club head is lighter. That adds up the almost the same club, one being slightly lighter with a small tweek on the head design. Is that worth the extra cash?

I just bought the Burner superfast rescue for $80 and the superfast 2.0 rescue is $130. That is about a 40% difference in price, and the 2.0 can only outperform the 2010 burner by 4% at most, that's about 10 yards. I could be wrong but the clubs seem way to similar to me.

Sincerely, Jim

Idk they switched logo position. extra 20 yards right there man. You didn't hear this from me but I heard that taylormade really likes money and has a way faster product cycle tha anybody else. I'd bet the differences are itty bitty. Id be surprised if you got extra yardage out of 1. If what they say every year gave you and extra 5 yards hear. and 6 months later you can gain another 10 We'd all be bombing the ball 400 yards soon. That being said I got my superfast about 6 months ago and it did add about 20 yards from my old 975d

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
