Offset issues

Hi all. I have recently purchased a set of Taylormade Tour Preferred CB irons to replace my old and worn Nike Pro Combos. Would the offset in the new irons cause a pull or a right to left flight?

I have read a few things on the net about offset and how it can effect ball flight but its a 50 / 50 weather offset can effect it or not.

Any help guys would be appreciated.

no offence but it is probably the golfer not the club but offset helps instill a left to right flight for most players. Its almost the same thing as if you closed or opened the face before swinging. If you think offset is the problem try opening the face a little bit before swinging then swing normal. I hit my drives like that sometimes if im really putting some oomph into it.

The Taylormade Tour Preferred CB irons do not have much offset as they are a player's iron. The offset should be fairly similar to your Pro Combos as they have minimal offset as well. So to answer your question because of the lack of offset in the new Taylormades they would not promote a pull or a right to left ball flight.

I think you are a little mixed up, more offset makes it easier to square the face and therefor fights a left to right ball flight in a right handed golfer.
