Hey guys. I got an app on my iPhone recently and I don't know how to use it properly just yet and it's just really the lines which confuse me. What do the lines mean and how can I use them to my advantage? Cheers.

Vague post of the year.

What app? What are you talking about?

Fwy - Titleist 904F 18*
Irons - Mizuno MP-14
Wedges - Cleveland 588 54*, Ping Tour 58*
Putter - Ping D66 (iWi)

I should've explained it better. I got a Swing Reader app and you can analyse your swing and it offers you a tool to draw lines on the body to help the analysis, only I don't actually know what they mean. So when analysing my own swing where do I put the lines?

I recommend seeing an instructor. If you don't know where to draw lines, some of us telling you where to draw them and what they mean won't do much for you.

The lines in and of themselves don't mean anything. What you would do with them would be to mark different things in your swing and then compare your body/hand/club/head position in relation to the lines, IE - the take away vs the downswing, your swing vs another persons swing, your swing vs your own different swing etc. Knowing what is correct and incorrect when the lines have been placed is the difficult part, and that is where I would follow iacas suggestion.
