A Phil Mickelson replica, meaning he uses 4 degrees of loft with a forward press to make effective loft around 2 degrees. On today's relatively fast greens, one doesn't require 4 of loft. I mean, if you putt like Phil, it may work. I don't like a forward press as I think any time a recreational golfer moves his hands with a putter, it is a bad move. I prefer a neutral setup with 99% of the movement from the big shoulder muscles, not the hands moving forward. Who knows, for a recreational golfer, you may not only move your hands forward with a forward press, but move the handle slightly up or down, throwing you off.

I am also not a fan of the white hot insert. The new Odyssey Metal X is a better insert, imho. It gives a more direct, yet soft feel.

I would pass on it, but it's your money.

I putt with a forward press a bit, it's just a natural start to my swing motion. I hold the press through my swing. It's just how I was taught to putt... done it since I can recall.
