A down the line video would be helpful. You can take your left shoulder down more and feel more stretching on your right side. You'll get more shoulder turn that way. Right now it's closer to 70° than 90.

My swing is normally more fluid than this however I had been working on technique all night so was a little tense!

On the slow-motion clip it's easy to see my early release which is causing a lack of consistency.

Incidentally, this is a squash court in an oil field in Africa, where I do my golf practice each night for a month at a time!

You look like you have a pretty solid swing - here are my comments.

(1.) I agree with Erik - you need to get a Down the Line (DTL) view so that we can better comment on your swing.

(2.) It looks like you have a very early release point - thus not getting much power from what I can see.  Power Accumulator # 2 looks like it is lost before P5 - which is pretty early in the downswing.  But it is difficult to see given the shaft blur.  Try getting a different back drop behind you - which isn't white.  Because the contrast of the steel shaft - on a white back drop - makes it really hard to see where the shaft is.  Especially on a camera phone which is only 30fps.  Even with the slowmotion video - you can't pick it up.

(3.) I would press your hands forward at address like this...  It will help you hit that tour striker iron that you were complaining about in the other thread.

As you can see I still struggle with the early release! It's usually not quite as bad as this though!

I've been working on keeping my weight more even on the backswing to stop me swaying to the right. On the downswing I have been working at sliding my weight left and finishing well balanced on my left heel.

This video is going to help a lot of people, and we're using it a lot, but that's why we filmed it…

Look at the top of your backswing and compare it to the backswings made in this video. Yours is much closer to the one on the right. Get the hips turning so your torso can turn farther.

    • Most the stuff I found on Instagram and just copy and mix it up. a few of my favorites: Clean>Squat>Press> March Around the body >catch >Squat> press I also hold a the kettle bell upside down with both hands on the handle. Squat when I stand back up I lift the kettlebell up over and behind my head and hold then repeat
    • Not sure this is the best thread but, if the rain holds off, today is my 1st round of the year.  Getting ready I can not find my Shot Scope.  I guess I put it away too well for the winter and thus that is may "Winter Depression".  I'm sure I put it somewhere that made sense at the time.
